Europe’s leading and the world’s second largest visitor attraction operator. With some 63 million visitors each year Merlin
 effectively owns the category ‘UK days out’ via its stable of iconic visitor attraction brands - such as Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, LEGOLAND, Alton Towers, London Eye, London Dungeon, Warwick Castle and Madam
Tussauds.  Merlin operate some 110 attractions in 23 countries across four continents.

Working in close partnership with a number of blue chip brands - notably Kellogg's, Nestle, Unilever, United Biscuits, News International, Pizza Hut and Sainsbury's - the team are responsible for delivery of high performing joint venture marketing promotions that drive sales and branding for both parties. They also work with brands to create highly experiential brand engagement and sponsorship activation campaigns. These activities represent a significant share of Merlin's annual £1.2bn revenue.

Brought in to strengthen the team at a key time of the year I provided the extra marketing resource needed including key contract negotiations with Tesco, Sky TV, Express Newspapers and Times Newspapers.
