The Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival are iconic events in the motoring calendar. They are also premier global occasions for the luxury brand business. Knowing the passion and enthusiasm guests have for and like to share at these events, Goodwood's vision was to build a social media motoring website. The site would enable Goodwood to interact with it's guests 247/365 vs just the time around each event annually.
The 'big idea' was to do something different in the online space. There are plenty of well crafted and widely respected motoring websites already out there providing great motoring editorial and comment. Also there are some very good motoring social media sites such as PistonHeads... but nobody was combining the two and doing both in one website... and so FortyOneSix.com was conceived. An informal place to share your motoring passions, views, images and videos alongside some great and entertaining editorial.. delivered with a Goodwood twist

Why FortyOneSix.com... it is a unique and known number to Goodwood fans, it is intriguing and invites curiosity, it leverages Goodwood's brand equity without being wedded to the 'formality of Goodwood'.
- Project manage the venture delivering it on time and on budget
- Directly manage the web agency and IT partners delivery, including stakeholders management
- Ensure smooth linkage and continuity with the existing Goodwood website and CRM database
- Create the marketing strategy, brand proposition, brand name and corporate identity
- Specify the functionality, lead the creative and UX design, define the navigation and create the content
- Deliver a compelling editorial proposition and strategy. Recruit and manage a senior motoring editor.
- Provide the commercials in terms of the P&L of the venture
